How have we progressed so quickly from the Wright Brothers’ early creations to stealth bombers and Jumbo Jets?

This exciting workshop explores these developments and introduces students to the world of modern aviation.  You even get to build your own glider!

Classroom sessions covering physics and the laws of aerodynamics are reinforced by practical exercises, flying a variety of model aeroplanes and helicopters using the latest computer flight simulator software. 

We will also be operating our own Air Traffic Control, monitoring flights by Radar and listening to the communications of aircraft entering UK airspace from the Continent and maybe even further afield.
